And why do I skip months?
People say to take the pill but i dont want people thinking I am nasty plus can it give you a heart attack?

honey go to a doctor and get that together asap. it may be that if you are very active in sports it will be off but get it checked out soon and good luck

Before you do anything you should talk to your doctor. Some people are simply irregular with their cycles. Others are irregular for different reasons. You should make sure there is no medical problem. That being said, there is absolutely nothing "nasty" about the pill. It is even prescribed as a solution to acne. It makes periods shorter and weaker, generally. And nobody has to know about it but you anyway.

There are many different reasons this could be happening. The one that comes to mind first is a hormonal imbalance. Talk to your doctor about your concerns. There are blood tests that can be done to find out what is going on in your body.
Taking the pill has benefits as well as risks. Don't do it without being fully aware of what it can do to you. It is only one of many options that can help restore periods (and definitely not the most pleasant).

i think you should talk to your doctor about this issue....it could be that your thyroid gland is malfunctioning....that is what happened to me and then i started on the pill and i had my period just like clockwork every month.....
