I have a degree in Design as well as Game Art but I really have an interest in modeling/rendering architecture. Would that be more of an engineering position? I've also messed around w/a couple CAD programs, and know 3ds max. Also, would I need yet more schooling for this?
Thanks

You can always try to promote yourself by sending info about you to different big firms. No schooling needed, just as long as you can do the job. They pay good money too for renderings and models. You can easily make a couple thousand dollars for a model that would probably only take you like 3 days to do. Promote yourself, make business cards and samples of your work and send them to architectural firms.

I read the answer below & agree firmly with her. I worked in advertising for yrs & the more your face, business cards, pamplets are seen the better you chances are. The old saying about "it's who you know the counts" is so very true. We had a weekly lunch club where people exchanged ideas & cards & up coming events to get exposure. Check with you Chamber of Commerce. Good Luck. You have the right idea
