Just because you may have ripped your hymen doesn't mean that the dr. will think you've had sex.

No they cannot tell you have had sex by lack of hymen. And active girl can lose hers during sports or even just using tampons. Masturbation can also cause it to deteriorate. Actually not all girls have a hymen to begin with. Any dr with half a brain knows all this. You do not need a hymen to be a virgin. You are a virgin until you have intercourse.
They can tell if you had sex if there are obvious signs, like an std, or vaginal trauma from particularly enthusiastic sex , though even that can ve caused by agresive masturbation with a dildo, vibrator or even fingers. And sperm in the vaginal canal is a dead give away, (duh).

ok.
the hymen (cherry) is a tissue covering of the entrance to the vagina.
it doesnt go away all at once. it erodes away from sex. i have had sex many times and still have part of mine intect because it hasnt completely eroded away yet.
i was active in sports growing up, and thought i did the same thing. you probably punctured or scratched it. but you dont "pop your cherry" from sports, tampons or anything except sex since it is the friction of the penis against the tissue which causes it to erode away.
look up hymen on wikipedia. it might help a bit. otherwise, talk to your doctor.

"Popping your cherry" is just the slang term for breaking your hymen. There are many ways to do that. Riding your bike, playing sports, and just everyday life can break your hymen. Your doctor won't think anything of it. If you're going to your Gyn-o they will ask you if you have had sex, just be honest.

actually no. Some women dont have anything to "pop", and even if it is, that doesnt mean intercourse caused it. Could be from tampons or some sort of trauma
