Who call him selfish go on Yahoo Sports and see the Kobe interview. He regualarlly talks to Jordan who gives him advice on how to deal with the idiots who call him selfish cause they use to do the same to Jordan. And if you idiots don't believe me watch the 88 All Star game where they talk about how Jordan was shut out of his first all star game after he won the slam dunk title because everyone thought he was too cocky and a ball hog! It seems like history repeats itself and there will always be jealous little girls hating on Kobe!

The point of my question is everyones always saying how great Jordan is and how Kobe is different and selfish and they don't know anything about NBA History and on top of that Jordan regularlly talks to Kobe and gives him advice to help him. So it's funny they hate Kobe and love Jordan meanwhile Jordan is giving advice to Kobe how to deal with haters.

Dude you're so stupid if you think it's more likely that a good looking, rich black athlete raped a average white chick for no reason as opposed to her seeing $$$$ and trying to capitalize. That makes a lot more sense to me.

I have been making that argument about Kobe for 3 months now. I know he's not selfish. I know he's a great player. I am personally convinced he is the best player in the league and Ill take it further and say he is MVP. People are going to criticize him because of their personal feelings towards him rather than his performance on the court. I personally think where he sticks his wang and anything else concerning his personal life is none of my business. All I am concerned with is what he shows me on the court. Think about it dude...anyone that criticizes his game cannot possibly be watching the games. They are making moral judgement on the type of character that they ALLEGE he has and that spills into criticism of his game. Ignore people dude. That is the only way you can coexist with these Kobe haters as they are not watching the games with their minds or even their eyes. They are watching with their hearts and opinions.
If you don't mind, I would like to compliment Kobe Rocks' stats with some of my own:
1) #2 in scoring but #9 in minutes played
2) #2 in made field goals but #5 in field goal attempts
3) #2 in free throws attempts and makes
4) #6 in turnovers (fewest)
5) #4 in efficiency points
He's giving you 29, 6 and 6. Yeah he's overrated alright (I say that with the highest possible levels of sarcasm). I think I can speak for Kobe fans and maybe Kobe himself when I say "hate on haters"!!! Your opinions of him (or ours for that matter) are not going to take away any skills from his game, bread out of his mouth or dough out of his wallet.

I don't like Kobe cause I don't like the Lakers, but I've always been fair when evaluating his basketball skills. To me, Kobe is immensley talented, has the ability to do anything out there, but his leadership skills have always been his weak spot. Well, this year, I think he's finally getting it. He tried last year, but I think he really wanted to win a scoring title, you have to admit, he does like winning personal awards, nothing wrong with that, who doesn't?? But, for a while, he won at the expense of his team.
I've always loved Michael Jordan, my favorite player of all time. The main difference between Jordan and Kobe was Jordan came into the league on a really bad team, Kobe came in on a really good team. If you're on a bad team and losing, you pretty much have a license to take a lot of shots to win, remember Jordans teammates? God they were awful.
Kobe was asked to fit in, when he wanted to dominate. So every bad shot he took was scrutinized because they were a team put together to win now. He had good teammates, and I've always thought Eddie Jones starting in front of him really made him wish he had gone to another team so he could have the creative freedom he craved to display to the world.
I can see Jordan talking to Kobe, I'm an NBA fan, and Jordan talks to any young player who wants to talk to him. He talks to Lebron, Wade, Ben Gordon, Carmelo, and countless others regularly. He's like the ambassador, these guys grew up watching him, idolizing him, and I like the fact that he gives them advice. Jordans heard EVERYTHING question, comment, and accusation you can think of, remember, he was so big it was ridiculous.
I think the fact that Kobe confides in Jordan has a lot to do with his change, and Kobe really did need to change.

If this is true then Jordon is an idiot. The folks at ESPN are idiots too as evidenced by their claiming today that Mr. Bryant's image is all cleaned up. But consider:
The Denver prosecutor said he had enough evidence to go forward. No one, even Bryant, has disputed that. Five minutes after the charges were dropped (because of an uncooperative victim), Bryant released to the ESPN legal coorespondents a statement apologizing to the victim and essentially admitting to the truth of the charges brought against him. Your uncle Billy could have indicted and convicted him on that statement alone. Now, this means either that ESPN and the public has forgotten about that statement, or that both ESPN and the public have a more accepting and loving attitude towards rapists--or at least a fondness for athlete/rapists.
As well, I recollect the judge in the case that very day warning that any payoff of the victim would be an act obstructing justice. Just before the civil case was to go to court, what happened? A payoff, as everyone knows. ESPN seems to have forgotten that as well. And so did the authorities in Colorado. I guess that might be handy to know--don't worry about what the authorities in Colorado say, a bark worse than bite sort of thing.
Oh well, I guess I am guilty of living in the dark ages. I cannot help feeling that sexual assault should be stopped and punished. Guess I'm all alone in that. Well, certainly I would be if I worked at ESPN.

Dr. Basketball great point! im glad someone finally brought that up! There is nothing wrong with getting advice from the best of all time as of today. When it's all said and done that will be Kobe giving someone else advice on how to deal with stupid fans boooing them after they recieved an Allstar MVP award like Kobe did in philly! It was music to my ears hearing the fans in vegas (which happens to be a neutral setting) chanting MVP MVP followed by KOBE KOBE!

OK, Mentioning Jordan and Kobe in the same sentence is bad enough, but to tarnish Jordan's legacy by making comparisons to Kobe is just plain wrong. I also have a hard time believing that Jordan is speaking to Kobe and giving him any advice other than, "you can't touch me, you will never half the player I was, so stop biting off of me and learn your role..." I have two words for Kobe... STREET CRED, look into it.
