Yes I think he has a very clear voice. Why not give it a shot he may regret it if he doesnt

I think he could get through the 1st round, if he did a catchy song. The one I listened to was a bit too slow to show off his vocals, I felt. So I would suggest at least a medium-paced song. But he has a good voice. And he should definitely try, because it can't hurt to try!
I think if he has good stage presence, and a good personality to go with the voice, he'd have a good chance.

He can always try. You never know what people are looking for. I think his voice is a bit weak, and he has a problem with pitch at times, but with practice and maybe a few lessons, he may have a chance to at least get to Hollywood.

He has the stuff and voice. But he has to put up some catch tune and practice again and again to perform well. He may suceed by hard work. Wish him all the best on my behalf. -
