I was born in 1950.
I had three of my children in the 70's.
I moved from New York to California in 1977.
There were blizzards all over the northeast 76-77.
Life was simple, you could trust people, the world wasn't out to just rip everyone off.
Insurance companies actually paid your claims.
You were rewarded at the job for being dependable, doing a good job, being on time,
unlike now, putting on the "Show".

50's Rock&Roll for sure! 70's I would say watergate and the Vietnam War! As for the 60's where oh where was WOODSTOCK!!! I was there and believe me, it was awesome and bigger than big! U must add that to your 60's! It's a must LOL!!!!
Oh 50's I was born! And 75 my daughter was born in N.Y. on 9-11-75! She will not celebrate her birthday on that day!

Oh, I can name you two tied together - The shootings by the national guard at Kent State University AND several years later, the university wanted to remove the memorial put up for the dead students to build a new gym on the spot. It incited a rather huge demonstration.
