poetry that rhymes flow, reads easier, promoting greater relaxationas well as having a great subjet matter, ending with a twist. I reccommend unwinding with a good book of rhymes at the end of the day, what do you think?

I like both styles. I enjoy many kinds of poetry - sonnets, free verse, etc. But I do have to admit that I like it when a poet makes the effort to make a rhyme scheme, either at the end of a line or in the middle. I also try to make my stuff rhyme sometimes, when I feel like writing a poem.

when it comes to lyrical poetry then yes when it rhymes it does have a better flow, but i believe that a un-rhyming poem actually has more meaning, and depth, and actually has more of a twist to understanding it, making it all the more enjoyable.

I love poetry. I prefer narrative poems because they are able to tell a story.
I don't too much care for poems that rhyme. They're too sing-songy to me and it makes me think of something a child would write.

most people like poetry that ryhmes because they don't think or know that poems that don't ryhm are even poems.
