Oh my, are you a little stupid? They try to stop it, you think gang members do it to hurt people? No, they just dont get the support from their parents, they feel lonely and unsafe, thats why they chose gangs, gangs are bad i admit, but imagine of you came into a world where you couldnt have anything you wanted, where you have no support, and only the gangs can give you that? Im sure you'd join a gang too. And RAP MUSIC has nothing to do with it!! Music is Music, do you want your children listening to AFI, Greenday, or My Chemical Romance?? If you do, they are going to end up being suicidle. From my point of view, rap music i admitt, is a little too violent, but they are telling us the real world, that not everything is perfect, they also use cuss words to make their point. Punk/rock/underground teaches kids how to hate the world, they tell you that your stupid, your not wanted, and such, they are influincing younger ones to cut their wrists, and telling them to kill themselves, but i admitt that rap music does influence kids to go rebel. So think about it, would you rather have a rebel kid, or a suicidle kid?

For the same reason we tolerate your stupid questions.
Can't you see that not everyone that listens to rap music is in a gang?
Also, school yourself on rap music before asking moronic question like this one. Not all rap music is like the kind you've heard, there is very socially conscious rap out there, but I'm pretty sure you would think that kind of rap is also worst than terrorism.

We can't control what people choose to do with their lives as far as gangs are concerned. Rap music is simply entertainment and freewill gives us the choice to listen or not and let it affect us negatively. But, I do think that terrorism is a major and more important issue as it truly endangers innocent people by the masses. All in all, there is nothing new under the sun.

I listen to rap, and it does no such thing. People said the same thing about Rock music, back in the day. Hell, beyond being bad morals, Kiss was the spawn of Satan. MAY BE you are just a square, a fuddy duddy, and not with the trend of today's music. MAY BE you should look at yourself in the mirror instead of judgeing others.

That's one way of looking at it.
Or you can understand that rap music is refuge for some people. Gives them aim and a purpose.
Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it doesn't make a difference to other people.
P.S. Terrorists aren't solely Muslim.

Every generation thinks the same thing.
You just need to get with the times instead of living in some dream world.

hey, have you heard of the colmbine ihgh school shooing back in 1999?
The first one people blames for the kid's behavior was the singer marilyn manson.
Mos ignorants are just ruining their lives and alwayys blaming either jewish or us pun k rockers- but the difference is that songs like "Grew up a screw up" actually spread idealisims of gangster liv es
