This is a 1991 movie called Murder 101 starring Pierce Brosnan
Directed by Bill Condon & written by Bill Condon & Roy Johansen

In 2004 there was a movie called Mindhunters. A group of profilers (I think for the CIA) are sent to a training island where they are to figure out/profile a killer. Each of the team begins to die. Had Christian Slater, Val Kilmer and Johnnie Lee Miller in it.
