Buy an 8 bedroom house~ master suite for me and my husband, a bedroom for each one of our six kids, and a spare bedroom to be used as a play room! I want it on about 10 to 15 acres of land and I want a 3 bedroom guest house at the back of the property! I want an indoor swimming pool, a basketball court, and a tennis court!
Then I would buy me a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT 500, a Scion XB, and a minicooper.
The rest I would buy all 8 of us a whole new wardrobe, furnish the new houses, buy the kids all new toys for inside and outside, and live off whats left!

Oh, mydad and I talked about this once. I originally thought pay off everyone's bills and buy them houses, but then he reminded me of the tax issue they'd then face. His suggestion, and I love it, it to go ahead and pay off all my bills, buy myself a house and cars, and then buy a house for each family, but keep them in MY name.

They move in as the caretakers of the property, leave a guest room for me that I can come be in for the requisite number of days a years (like a week), and they not only get to live there, they get a salary for being the caretaker. Same goes for the cars.

I'd buy Redstone Castle (Redstone, Colorado) Have it refurbished to as it was - fully - including the gold leaf ceiling, and then open it back up for public tours like it used to be, rent out the rooms as before. Oh, and stay there an awful lot.

And I'd indulge in my hobby and hit all the ren faires, rendezvous and sci fi cons I want. taht means a good RV too.

Where do I start....

First, I'd finish my house, then I'd buy my Mum and brother a house and pay off my sisters house. After that, I'd hire a teacher for a year and pack my family up and travel Australia by road for that time, just to figure out what to do with the rest of the money.

Life could be a dream,

The biggest headache would be finding good tax advice.
Then, my relatives would probably sue me, trying to get hold of the money.
I really think I would very quickly cash a "little" and pay off my misc. debts, re-roof the house, get 2 very "basic" HDTV's at Sears, as well as all the dvd's on my Amazon wish list right now, and then as fast as possible get the rest of the money donated to my local Humane Society.
That way, I'd be safe from those relatives, and the money would be gone before they heard about it.

I'd be really careful with it. I have a very large family, so I'd give everyone $500 a month until the money ran out. That way, we'd have a nice little styphen that would last for years and years and years.

Donate some to a good charity, get a better education, give my parents a perfect retirement home, buy a small apartment, pay off all bills, and buy a '66 Mustang!

Give a whole bunch to my church, pay off my debts (very small amount...stuff like my car, etc.) then I would pay off my family's debts, buy myself a place with land in the country, buy my parents a place with land in the country, give my parents a whole bunch so my mom wouldn't have to work anymore and my dad could relax and they could go on vacation. I'd pay my bro's way through college (without him knowing of course..he'd never accept it), pay my best friend's way through college (again...without her knowledge), set up trust funds for my niece and nephew, give my sisters a bunch so they could stop working themselves to death, invest a whole bunch of whatever was left...buy a truck to haul my dogs around in, build that really cool-looking dog house I've had my eyes on building (got the plans off the 'net)...gosh, would I have anything left?... I'd finally be able to start a little farm like I've always wanted!

buy homes on the beach and near my family and have a staff of people to care for them and me and my dog . i cant drive, Id like a caravan of rv's cars, vans and a service truck with a full staff, lifeguards and cooks and a dog groomer and a nurse to travel and transfer from one home to the other. Also at least 3 companions to play cards and board games and go out to dinner. At each home i' like gardeners and pool caretakers.

First I would quit my job. Then, I'd buy some land and build a nicer house. I would pay off all my dad's debt, just this once! Last I would go on a vacation with my husband!
