Will there ever be a time when Americans will resolve their history and become a "color-blind" society. Is it a desirable state of affairs to be totally "color blind" where race is concerned? In what instances (or under what circumstances) should Americans retain their racial identity?

There should be no such thing as racial identity. Its not necessarily that there is something wrong with seeing color it's just what we assume to go along with the different shades of people. We are all the same, yet somehow we have managed to put certain characteristics along with whatever nationality you are. We as a society look athe simple exterior differences and see somehow it being linked to interior differences such as atheletic ability, intelligence, etc. This is the view we need to change. I might not have came across how I wanted to, I do agree with the person who posted this question that it is a problem and we do need to fix it, but first we need to understand it.

Today. Few hours ago I have answered a question concerning justice for the descendants of slaves. I believe that the wise leaders are taken action today.
The U.S, is a nation known as an advocate for freedom, so she will definitely show her devoted trust in God by safeguarding justice for all His children. The Americans and all humanity are only of one race - the race of rational beings.

When blacks decide there is more to life than their skin color, then racism will go away. Its really up to blacks. An interesting fact is that blacks who migrate here from other countries have the same income levels as whites. I have also seen American blacks treat blacks from other countries baldy. So would that be considered racism? I noticed a big push lately for reparations and this also creates large crevasses between the races. Its interesting to note that blacks came here after many whites were already here. I know my ancestors were here before the black slaves were brought in. Since middle eastern slave traders rounded up the slaves and shipped them to America, should they be more accountable to pay reparations? Anyway, until blacks make their lives about something more than skin color and victim mentality, they will not be happy in society. Its really up to them.

There will be truly some pride and convenience in sharing some thing with human beings like you. do in simple terms not hate those who are not like you.
