Ah, the mind/body problem. Whether tis nobler of the mind to split it off from the body in complete dualism or to take arms against a sea of theories suggesting that the mind is only an epiphenomenon of the physical body/brain.

This discussion seems to me to be on that you could argue in circles for eons and still come no closer to any kind of a discernable answer.

I myself think that the mind is more than a simple epiphenomenon (cool word, huh?) however, I also think that the mind and body are not completely seperate from one another. They are related together, though how exactly, I could not say.

No, you are your heart , mind and soul, the body is what you live in until you die and become a spirit again. The ego is the self worth you put on what you consider to be important. The really important things are how we treat other people, how we conduct our lives and our compassion and ability to serve other human beings. That is our heart and soul and hopefully our minds job in it's best...doing what we were designed to do. My opinion.

When you drive a car, you are not the car.

I believe you are your consciousness, a small being that sits in the cockpit of your body, totally unaware of the other bodily functions, including the subconscious.

I or me, is a trinity consisting of three components: your inner nature, your person or body, and your personality. These three are different, but together they make one you.
