Make sure you are using enough soap/shaving creme when you shave. Go with the hair and then against it, for a closer, smoother shave. When you are done, and dry off, apply a moisturizing lotion and then baby powder to the part you have shaved, and it will help stop the irritation. I do this everyday and I don't have embarassing bumps or irritation. :)

DO NOT SHAVE!!!!
If you have this problem then you should only wax your hair. Shaving only cuts the tip of the hair off and leaves it feeling sharp and itchy, it dehydrates your skin and causes ingrown hair and sweat pimples which can result in scarring.
I can only recommend for you to have bikini, brazilian or XXX waxes- from this you will have no red bumps, smooth and soft skin, no regrowth for 2-6 weeks and no more itching when it grows back.

**The vagina area can get very dry so whatever form of hair removal you use make sure that you exfoliate your pubic region a few times a week and moisturise every day.

the simple answer as to why we get razor burn is we run it over the same spot repeatedly trying to get it all smooth, one swipe of the razor will not give you so much irritation. use a fresh razor every time you shave down there, and a good shaving lotion or hair conditioner and only one swipe, and never rub it with a towel, just dab.

First, Don't shave against the growth of your hair...shave along the hair growth.

Second, Use a sharp razor.

Third, They make a special cream you can by at Walmart or anywhere like that called "Bikini Zone", meant especially for that.

Problem Solved!

Vitamin E oil can be applied to the affected skin or a Vitamin E capsule can be broken and directly applied on the affected area.More cheap and natural remedies for itching at the link below.

Use hair conditioner, and after you shave go with the hair not against, but use a solid deodorant. Just give it a try it dosen't burn and stops the sweating.

its razor burn.

dont shave every day. it jsut irriatates it more. i shave once a week to let the hair grow back and let the irritation subside.

if you want to be hairless all the time, you should wax. it lasts 2-3 weeks.
