That is actually one of the signs doctors use to look for when they were trying to determine if a woman was pregnant before we started testing for HcG. Your body has added quite a bit of water volume to the blood and between the pressure of the swelling uterus on that area and the increase in blood volume, you get a bluing. Its no big deal, your doctor won't even be phased, if it bothers you ask your doctor and he/she will tell you just what I have (but they count more...lol).

It is the same for me. I am not a nurse or doctor, but I would think it would be related to hormones or blood flow to that area. Also can happen before menstruation. I notice it is that way before my periods and it happens during pregnancy. It is an educated guess though. Just as hormones give you a pregnancy glow it can give you some changes in other things as well. I know your hormone levels change before your periods and then when you get pregnant your hormone levels change as well. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If I find out for sure I will add more to this post.

I can't say for certain. But I know for a fact that blood volume increases while you are pregnant (up to 50%). That may be the cause of the color change. I am 32 weeks, and I haven't looked to see if mine has changed. But don't be embarrassed. I can, however, assure you that your doctor has seen this before.

Thats normal, trust me your doctor has seen more than you'll ever know or would want to know lol the bluish color i would guess is increased blood flow to the area. Im not sure everyones does.

It's totally normal, and is most likely due to blood flow in that area. Don't be embarrassed about your body changes. Your doctor sees this everyday, and won't be surprised or concerned at all! Relax! Good luck, and congrats on your pregnancy!

blodd vessel diameter increases in size due to hormones of pregnancy so more blood flow. Also get venous pooling/congestions of blood in the area so things look bluish
