The scar will probably be with your friend forever,I don't know how your friend got these scars, but they are a part of you and you shouldn't worry to much about them. However using a lighter shade of foundation on the scars will fade them some what. The more you try to hide them, the darker the will get.

for ages asian people have used 'rosehip oil' applied twice a day to get rid of scars. depending on when she got the scar, it may take months, but the end result? the scar is no longer there or very barely noticeable.

i would use mederma they have it for kids/adults. its a cream that you rub onto the scar and it works really well. if you continue using mederma every day, the scar will fade. its takes a few weeks for the scar to fade if its new and a few months if its a older scar, but its worth the wait.

sometimes scars make you who you are but if it is THAT bad you can get surgery and remove it but it's a mark of your memories and adventures you've been to...so really think about it when you want to do it.
