All my friends wear makeup, and i'm not allowed to at a later age. When do you think i should start?

around 15 or 16 because you dont want to ruin your skin when you are so young. im 16 and i just began to wear make up... i love it and i know how tempting it is to wear it.. but everything will come.. i dont understand why young girls want to wear so much make up? i think a lip gloss will do when you are 13 or so... dont ruin your skin yet... your mother is right and she is telling you that for a reason. my mother did allow me to wear it either.. and i thank her for that. sometimes i use to get mad at her but now i have all the make up i want and i dont even want to wear it sometime (like today)... so just wear a nice shade of lipgloss and show off your beautiful FRESH skin!! good luck!

You should start when you want to start. There isn't an age limit for wearing makeup and that's the truth.I believe you should wear makeup whenever you want just keep it simple but.. don't wear makeup if your like 7 or something :)

I started when I was 13. But I think it depends on how much of what stuff you use. if it's a concealor for acne, then 12-13 should be about right.

i would say around 13 but start out light like a light eyeshadow such as peach or white and mascara you dont need eyeliner yet at 13 im 25 and i only started wearing eyeliner on the top lid in college
