have five kids three girls and two boys age 7,7,9,11,2 which system would be the best for at least the next five years i know thats a long time in gaming land just want to get the right system for the most all useage fun for all of them thanx

i have all of the above and I would pick the Wii. The wii has more games for those age groups a lot of them that are multi player. The nintendo is more durrable. I accidentaly dropped my gamecube on concrete when I was bringing it to a friends, my little cousin spilled chocolate milk into it, and it still works, I would expect the Wii would be the same. The games are also a lot more active, they have you get up and move and that will be exercise for them. Plus it is just my favorite, I love all the games on it. They are lots of fun you can play them for hours and they are pretty easy to under stand. Your 2 year old could probably play some of the games on rayman. It also has the feature of DL games that are pretty cheap like $5 a peice for the older games. You can also access the internet like pause the game go to the internet and go to gamefaqs.com to look up what to do if you are stuck. I do like a lot of the games on the X-box but a lot are violent and may be for older kids. I would defenatly pick the Wii

Well I have an xbox360 and you can do all your media entertainment with it. You can play games, watch movies with a media center pc or DVDs on the xbox. I might recommend the WII because it is for children of all ages. More games for kids i know that much and it is more cost efficient because it cost less than the xbox360. I would go with that since you still have kids of that age and some games you could play. Like tennis, and other games of the sort. I dont recommend the Playstation because it cost to much and it does not do all that Sony said it would.

I am 51 & I love my Wii. My family ranges in Wii playing age
from 5-54 yrs old & we all love it. It is easy to play for the non gamer & still has regular games for the gamer.
I hate the high pressure games but Wii is fun & 4 people can play at once - added bonus. Those not playing can laugh at others playing any of the over 20 sport games - what crazy body moves people use. Good luck choosing.

Welp I think the new Wii is pretty cool. My sister has it and it is fun for the kids. The playstation is coming out with three and prolly four within the next five years. But the x box is the hot new thing too. Ask the kids?

The wii would be best! You could get such games as wario ware smooth moves that would be excellent for all of them!!!! The boys would love excite truck or need for speed carbon and you would probubly like The legend of zelda twilight princess or Redsteel. So really if you get the wii everyone could play. You can also download all of the favs you loved on the Original nintendo!

Wii is cheepest, Xbox 360 is little expensive, PS3 is a important disaster of money. Wii = Worst pics vs. 360/PS3, 360 = second acceptable pics, PS3 = acceptable pics. they're all equivalent yet regardless of you get, i do no longer RECCOMEND THE PS3! I absolutely have a Wii, and that i love it a lot, so as it really is my decision.

besides i think that the X-BOX and Playstation is more for teens around 16 and up

the Wii will have more child/family oriented gaming, as Nintendo usualy does. X-Box and Playstation will have games suitable for children, but notably less of them, as these systems are generally marketed to teens and adults.

i have a wii and its great. VERY fun. The wirless remot is awsome. My 7 year old brother is completley in love with it and i am to. x box dosnt have many kids games so dont get it. I have 1 of those to.

Wii is more affordable and with testing it has a higher rating that Xbox or PS3
