My husband and I are moving there this summer. Our favorite shows we have seen are Le Reve at the Wynn and Blue Man Group. Love those guys. We also like to just walk around and look at the sites. We also equally enjoy getting away from the strip to Lake Mead and our relatives in Summerlin. As well, we have a Harley, and like to drive to San Diego on the weekend. We don't really like gambling so we don't waste our money on that. We would rather see a show or eat a fantastic meal. We just love the weather and all it has to offer. If you want more about the strip, well then, my favorites are touring the Caesars Palace and the Wynn, I just love walking on the strip. And going on top of the Stratosphere. And we love to go to New York New York for dinner and the bars are great in there for entertainment, even if you don't drink. So there you go. It's all great. My advise is research it before you go. There is alot to do that's for free and alot that's inexpensive. Just doing alittle research can save you alot of money and create a great plan for alot of fun times.

Any of the Cirque shows are good. The Phantom of the Opera is good. Floyd Lamb State Park has lots to do. Funniest comic is Vinnie Favarito. Mt.Charelston is nice, snow in the winter and skiing. Lake Mead has water sports. Red Rock has hiking and rock climbing. The wax museum is fun. Best old Vegas style show is definantly The Scintas, they are a MUST. There is lots to do besides gambling but really most people come here to gamble and we love them for it.
THANKS!

Let's be honest here, if it weren't for the gambling Las Vegas would not exist. I spend 4-6 weeks a year in LV and have for over 20 years, there is no way I would have ever gone if it were not for the gambling.
I enjoy going for two weeks at at time, because it does give me plenty of time to do other things, the shopping is incredible the free spectacles amazing, the hotels themselves are an awesome site. Geeez I almost forgot the food, :) I put on 10lbs every time I go.
The main thing is gambling though, where else can you go on vacation, have the hotel pay for your room, food & booze, then you get to take their money home>and they invite you back to do it again!!

The cirque du soleil shows are worth seeing if you don't mind spending the money but as far as freebies go, you can't beat the fountains at Bellagio. Or the Fremont Street Experience.
The view from the top of the Stratosphere, at dusk, is also worth a look.
There's just far too many!!!

Last year we saw KA by Cirque du Soleil it was the highlight of the trip. This year we will see Mystere by Cirque du Soleil. It runs about $100 per ticket but it is well worth the price.

i flow to Las Vegas alot!!! So, right it fairly is what i desire to propose... unfastened shows....Bellagio Fountain tutor, Sirens of TI at Treasure Island, Volcano Errupting at Mirage, and entertainment on the bar interior MGM Grand...this is close to the Lion Habitat and that's around....Shadow at Caesars' Palace. Nude/Topless....The tutor LaFemme at MGM is stunning. I evaluate myself very conservative, and purchased tickets to the tutor thinking they have been clothed. I do ought to assert that it is the classiest and ingenious nude tutor on the strip. I observed it with my father the 1st time, and then took my boyfriend lower back to work out it yet over lower back...I enjoyed it a lot. relatives...The Cirque tutor Mystere at Treasure Island is the final Cirque tutor on the strip. extra effectual than "O", KA, Zumanity (havent seen the recent one at Wynn). I honestly might say to work out this one whilst you're in simple terms going to work out one tutor. Jubilee at Ballys (I incredibly have heard) is powerful whilst you're in seek of the "previous Las Vegas" showgirl journey. have relaxing!
