After visiting unknown websites my antivirus keeps on alert that I have a trojan on my system on files isamntr.exe and pmsnrr.exe. How can I remove this Video Access ActiveX Object?

That particular Trogan is in your Registry and it has self-healing abilities, that is once you restart your computer, even though you might have totally removed everything in C\ drive and in your other files, the thing will reappear again in full swing. Clear it out best you can do a "search" on it in your files and delete it even off of the RecycleBin.

So what you do is go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System, System Restore, and then on the calendar, pick a date when the thing hadnt shown up yet and restore to that earlier date. Reboot, and it will be GONE.

Dude- I have this on my computer too. I just noticed it like 2 days ago. I work at a flight school, and when I go to the scheduling link on the webpage- it is the ONLY site that pops up with a fake-looking anti-virus program- but absolulty NO way to get it to quit- it also keeps trying to change my home page to something else. Why do computers got to do this crap??

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to try a system restore. I've tried over and over again to delete it as best I can but it won't let me! Windows keeps telling me that the file is in use EVERY time I try to delete the file folder! ???

You may have downloaded a fake windows media codec that installs worms on the background. The SmitFraudFix by SiRi can remove it. Just visit the full removal instructions here: http://www.precisesecurity.com/adware-spy/vaax.htm

As for the process please read this article:
