1. Cost of living, especially housing. You can buy the same house for half the price.
2. Traffic/commuting distance. You'll save time, money and your health.
3. No state or city income tax. It's like you're given a 10% raise, at least.
4. Climate/weather. You'll save more money on heating, wear and tear on your cars and yourself, winter clothes. The extra cost of air-conditioning is nothing compared to what you'll save on heating.
5. Because of the climate, a more relaxing way of life. Good for body and soul.
6. The people are friendlier. Guaranteed!
7. It's big enough to have the emenities you want but small enough for getting around and for having a close-knit community spirit. The lively but safe downtown can't be beat.
8. There are enough jobs to go around. From aerospace to automotive to pharmaceuticals...This is no hick town. It maybe a little bit of "cow town" still but it's definitely "now town" too!

Come on down and take your family along for a visit. Our weather has started to be pretty nice (sunny and 78 degrees Tuesday, 79 later today and 76 tomorrow!). You'll love it here...

Why would anyone stay in Chicago?
Ft Worth is great if you like the slow paced laid back lifestyle. When people come to Dallas and ask what there is to do...we say go to Ft. Worth!
Austin is really the place to be though.

To get away from the FAST PAST"EDNESS" of the Chi!!! Fort Worth is VERY much laid back, but PLEASE find a decent area... some of it is very old. You certainly wont have to worry about anyone trying to consistently get over on you.. dont get me wrong, EVERY city/town has its hustlers, but Texans are friendly and straight up!!! It will DEFINITELY be a change of atmosphere for you. It is slower than Chi Town... HECK its slower than Dallas... (Now thats slow) Anyhoo, definitely try to visit before you move just to get a feel of what you might be getting your self into!!!

P.S. Brush up on the aggressive road skillz and road rage. HAHAHAHA!!
