Make a plan to become a better person right away. Have that plan start tommorrow and make sure it has step by step instructions and goals. Try to accomplish those goals, finding out why you failed when you do (and you should expect to fail at some point) and make sure you don't make the same mistakes. Just organize priorities in your life and lay out a plan to fix each problem.

Take a deep breath and stop worrying for a minute. Try and think about things a bit more analytically. Face your issues/fears/worries one at a time. It might help to group them, like: career issues, family issues, relationship issues, etc. Write them down if that'll help. Then tackle them one at a time. There will be lots of things you can't do anything about - these you'll have to learn to accept that there's no point worrying about them.

Once you take the time to think about things rationally, you should stop feeling so overwhelmed. Your rational, thinking mind, can help focus your feeling, emotional mind and help stop the panic.

Another technique - many people find relief and comfort in prayer or meditation. At least while you're meditating and/or praying you are focussing your mind and eliminating the negative, chaotic voice inside your head. The more you can create silence, the less worrisome life will feel at other times.

Start by looking at your schedule and see what you can eliminate. We tend to agree to do more than we can handle. Next, do a daily chart. what time to get up? Job? School? Homework? chart it so you can see what time you are spending for various activities. Get off for some quiet time even if it is 15-30 mins no phone, TV music etc just quiet.
