I LOVE LOVE LOVE Female fronted rock bands. I know of Paramore, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Within Temptation, and that's all. What are some real good, coming from a true point of veiw in thier lyrics female fronted bands?

The Sundays, very unique lyrics, phrasing, and melody. Hits are "Here's Where the Story Ends" and "Summertime." Very melodic. The best of this group is not the hits. There are some gems within hte albums, such as the cover of the Stomes' "Wild Horses." Beautiful!

Hard to beat the band Heart; Crazy on You is an excellent song, Barracuda is another. Does Fleetwood Mac, with Stevie Nicks on vocals(Rhiannon, Dreams, Gypsy) count?

bikini kill, lone justice, Ani Difranco, Aslyn, Geri Verdi, Patty Griffin, Sheryl Crow used to be a rock singer, now she's just a pop princess, and dixie chicks are as good a rock band as I've ever heard.
