What between his Bay of Pigs fiasco, the nuclear crisis that grew out of it because of JFK's poor leadership as Commander in Chief, and his rapid escalation of the Vietnam War, there must have been powerful people who wanted him dead. And that's just the government people. Then there's the mafia, the Russians, the Cubans, the WASP ruling class. Who killed JFK will be a question for the ages.

Jack Ruby, a strip club owner with alleged Mafia connections killed Oswald while he was in police custody. Kennedy's father was a Union boss who also had alleged Mafia ties. The Mafia supposedly got angry with the Kennedy's for failing to keep the communists from taking over Cuba (they had control of the Cuban casinos until then) and for Bobby Kennedy's aggresive work against organized crime. Why was Bobby Kennedy also killed when he ran for President? I just think it's suspicious; it sure looks like somebody wanted to make sure no Kennedy would be President. I think organized crime was involved, some people think anti-Castro Cubans were responsible, or maybe a combination of both, or maybe somebody else. Other people think the police and other just did a poor job of investigating the crime. No one will ever know for sure.
