first off, im 18, well i was off my period for 3 months and i went to my gyno and she gave a preg. test n it showed negative so she put me on birthcontrol. after two packs i started my period and it lasted for 27 days. i went back to her and she changed my birthcontrol and i finally stopped. but ive been having nausea, hotflashes, sore breast,my abdomen swollen a bit, and some other stuff. but to get to the question, does it sound like i could be pregnant? or what do u think from your opinion it could be? [and yeh i know i should see a doctor, and i will on my next checkup in a month or so]

yikes, I don't have any further advice, other than what others have already said. You sure have "taken one for the team", haven't you? My heart goes out to you, good luck!

Take a preg test.. I don't think you're pregnant, but it 's always good to be cautious. Your symptoms could be a side effect from the birth control pills, you may need to try a bunch of different types until you find one that works well with your body. I personally would ask for the Nuva Ring, it delivers the hormones right into your reproductive system instead for travelling through your whole body(which is what the pill does) and it uses less hormones than the pill.

If your OB already did the test, then you are not pregnant. It may be bloating from the period. Your OB would not give you pills if you were pregnant. Also, your breasts get sore during your period too. That bleeding is normal like that when you first get on the pill. That is why I never took the pill, that is too long to be bleeding! Well, 5 kids later, I wish I had stuck to the pill! LOL

This happened to me.. the bleeding for a complete month. changing birth control types changes your how your body reacts to your cycle.
Having sore breast and stuff is a side affect of some of the birth control pills. Sometimes it can take up to 3 months for your body to stabilize. Trust me I know what I am talking about, I have been on all sorts of different birth control pills for going on 12 years.

How long have you been on the b/c ? Have you missed any pills? If you have been on them for over 2 months and have not missed any then I would say it is a side effect from the pill that could sometimes mimic a pregnancy....If you feel that you could be pregnant because you missed pills or havent been on them enough time take a HPT...if it is neg I would just suspect it is side effects from the pill~ Good Luck!

I would call ur doctor? YOu could be pregnant... but it also can be a side effect from your pills. bcps are hormones and your body needs to adjust.
If you are toward the end of your pack of pills and your period is supposed to be due.. u could always try testing?
I got pregnant on bcp's with my now 13 yr old son. I thought i was just adjusting to the new pack.. but i was pregnant. (i was on an antibiotic which made the bcps not work as efficiently as they were supposed to)

Real weird... demand your doc to give you a blood pregnancy test... if she refuses thell her you want a second opinion... There is something wrong no one has a 27 day period.
Additionally, birth control gives you hormones so you body thinks it is pregnant = no ovulation... You may just be on too high of a dose...
