Large nuts rise to the top.
When you shake a can of mixed nuts, the large nuts gyrate to the top as the smaller ones fill in the spaces beneath. A natural occurrence. If the nuts are all the same relative size, they cycle from bottom to top and back.
Good ideas rise to the top on a base of lesser ideas. But, were it not for lesser ideas, the good ones would start on the bottom as well. In a debate, good ideas clash, sometimes winning, sometimes loosing, but not discarded.
People of good conscious and integrity rise to the top of those of lesser ideals. When two of these people clash, each will loose at times, but society always gains.

It isn't' always about me... When someone is upset, when some things go wrong, someones bad day... etc... Their bad or not so good behavior has mostly to do about them and not my responsibility.
