blood test an pregnancy?

hello i wanted to know if anyone knows how much blood test usually cost and where can i get one without pernts knowing im only 17

Have you taken a home pregnancy test yet? This might be a good first step.

Otherwise, any clinic should be able to help you with a blood test. As far as cost goes, it depends where you are in the world and what sort of clinic you visit (public or private). Phone a few in your area and ask.

Most test results usually can be phoned in these days, they would not normally send a letter to your house. In fact, in 22 years I've never worked anywhere where we advise women of the results of a pregnancy test by mail. We always call, or they call us, or come back in and pick them up face to face. Of course, if you NEED to have confirmation of your results in writing it can be provided.

At 17, you should be able to have medical treatment for anything without your parents being notified.

I dont know the age where you are as far as not telling your parents but a doctor will first do a pee test and then if that is negative they will order the blood test (providing you give good reason you think you may be pregnant) and have the results in a few days and call you at the # you provide (not sure of the cost but if i remember right it is a bit pricier then the normal tests.

10 days prolly isnt long enough. Her hgc level needs to be higher. I didnt show psitive until about 1.5 months after a missed period. Id say wait a few weeks. If she wants to know earlyer then get a blood test done. If a pee tests comes out positive chances are its acurate cuz the lines are only activated from the hgc hormone. Oh and if she had her LMP 10 days ago-shes prolly not pregnant cuz that means last month she didnt get pregnant, the cycle has just restarted, so have lots of sex in the next 2-6 days and shell have good chances of getting pregagnt cuz she should be ovulating.....wait 4 weeks and test again. From what you say here your wife just had her period 10 days ago?

u can go into a clinic and they will give u a preg test ( pee test) for free and they will not call ur parents. they passed a law a while ago saying you have ur rights for them to not tell your parents. I never heard of someone buying a blood test to check for preg though i went into the er once because i was not feeling good they checked to see if was preg thru a blood test and the results came back within an hour they usually dont mail stuff to your house. but ur best bet is the clinic look in ur phone book and its free.

I'd recommend first going to the drug store and purchasing an EPT (early pregnancy test). These are like 99% accurate and consist of a simple testing kit with a plastic device holding a strip of paper that you hold in your urine stream. It works best with the first urine of the morning and gives a simple to read result based on color and a visible "+" or "-" sign.

These are available for ~$15 to $20 in the aisle without asking the pharmacist. Simple and effective.

Welll here in PA if you are 14 and go to the Doctor and tell them you do not want ur parents to know any way then they are not allowed by law to tell them. SO if you get a blood test, tell them not to send any mail and to call you and they can only tell you. You should find some info in ur state about it. Your almost an adult so.

You shouldn't do it because when a mail thing comes in your parnets will have to read it. Then you will get in trouble.
