The two Japanese men in the Wii commercials are driving a very small car. What kind is it? Is it on the market in the U.S. or only being used for the commercials?

It's a Smart For-Two. They sell it in Europe. It isn't available in the US, but they will sell a larger model in the US soon.

The car is the Smart Four-Two and it IS on sale in the US through specialized dealers, it sells for around 35K but Smart is looking to build plants here in the US which would bring the base model down to around 15K. RIght now they are being shipped from Europe

I met a guy a year ago driving one around the Bay Area to test the reaction from would-be consumers.
It's called Smart car. A company called Zap distributes it. You'll have to order through them till their readily available. It's classified as a Compact ecological European car. Here's the link for the Official site from DaimlerChrysler.
