I HAD A PEP SMEAR AND THE TOULD ME THAT MY CERIX IS CLOSED WHAT THAT MEAN?

You didn't ask? Call tomorrow and ask. Don't be so easy going when it comes to your health and your body. You pay for the exam, any comments should have been explained and if not you should always ask> Remember that and in future always question everything that you don't understand. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. As you get older you will also write down questions befor ethe visit. Dr.'s hav elittle time to talk and we get nervous and forget and leave wondering why we forgot. So, always remember to ask and write a list before each visit, get your moneys worth and peace of mind. You cn look on google or Web MD to see what they say. Also the National Institute of Health has a good website.

If you are pregnant and your cervix is closed, it means that things are ok. A thinning or open cervix means a possible miscarriage or if you are near your due date, that labor is emminent. Sounds like you don't know if you are pregnant. Take a test and then go back to the doctors.

If you had a PAP smear and you are pregnant, then your cervix is supposed to be closed! That would be a good thing.

You are diahlated or opening which is good if your not near term. You open when it's time.
