well, hmm... I would have to say a broken sand wedge...

he keeps getting America into the sand traps (Iraq) but can't ever seem to get us out... just hack, hack, hack all day long...

and he's not much good for anything when not dealing with sand, but he's not even good at that (since he's broken)
