My mom told me not to shave my vigina region. But some people say it's ok. I'm in my mid-teens. What should I do?

Who are you doing it for? yourself or for someone else..
I would go with your mother...you have plenty of time later to shave there when you get older...

Ok maybe I'm old fashioned, but I don't think you should in your mid teens. That said, it doesn't hurt anything. If you're worried about looking good in a bathing suit, there's nothing wrong with shaving the bikini line. If you want to go bare, I guess it's ok. But the mother in me says WAIT! lol If you do it, just be sure to use a good shaving cream and a good, sharp razor so that you don't end up with horrible razor burn down there. Trust me, it's no fun!

I cannot fathom any reason to shave your vaginal region. If it is for your own benefit (whatever that may be) then just be careful about ingrown hairs. If you want to do it to impress some guy, don't. He's obviously not worth the itch if that is important to him. We are women, not little girls - we're supposed to have hair down there, in spite of what people like Hugh Hefner think.

You should get some sissors and trim it like your hair then u wont get hurt.

leave your pubic hair alone..it itches when it grows back and you're too young to be bothering with it...and it's vaginal region.
