just finished book 13 and i am real mad! i have three questions. plz try and answer as many as you can!
1) What the heck was in the sugar bowl?
2)Is any parent alive?
3) where is capt.Widdershins and the quagmires?

Well... I have to say I was really frustraited by the ending too. It didn't explain anything except the "authors" love for their mother, beatrice. No one has any clue what the sugar bowl was, or where the quagmires are. I'm pretty sure both parents are dead though. Sorry!

I know! I was really frustrated too! Well like everyone already said, no one ever found the sugar bowl so we dont know what was in it.
No, I dont think any parent is alive. srry
They never found the Quagmires or Cpt. Widdershins. I like to think they made it safely back, though.
*Did you catch that little clue in book 12 i think, where it said they have "a previously unknown sibling watching them at that verry moment" ?...it said something like that, It was in the part where everything was written backwards so you have to read it in the mirror.

The parents are dead, unfortunately. The sugar bowl wasn't found so we never found out. They also didn't find Captain Widdershins or the Quagmire Triplets. I think Lemony Snicket could have made the ending better, but hey, keeps us wondering, right?

I've read the books...but I don't think I'll be much of a help...I'm wondering the same things!! sorry. Though I think...want their parents to be alive!
