3 points because it was behind the three point line. 3 points is the most you can score on a single shot. They don't give a extra point for making a half court shot. You can get a 4 point play by making a 3 and getting fouled and making the free throw.

3 points, unless the shooter is fouled in the act of shooting - then they'd have the opportunity to score an extra point.
But the shot itself can only score 3 points.
