the "sleep" in the corners of your eyes when you wake up?

I'm curious. It's one of those things I wonder about.

Ignore most of these ignorant answers - the simple fact of the matter is that while it is very real, since it has no impact on health no one has really bothered to classify it. It's nothing more than eye excretions from the tear ducts of the eyes, composed mainly of salt, trace mineral elements, and dust particles from the air.

medical transcriptionist, 16 years, I've never heard it referred to. lol.
We call it eye boogers at our house.
