I've had experiences of things in my house mysteriously moving around and being woken in the middle of the night by a cold breeze(even though no windows or doors are open). Anyone experienced similar things?

I work at a daycare. When I first started working there the other teachers didn't want to be down stairs in the late afternoon and the early evening. There are 2 class rooms down there. The teachers always bring their class upstairs or outside. I asked why and they said there were ghost down stairs. I didn't believe them of course. So I had to close one night and someone had left the lights on down stairs. I went down and turned it off. I turned to go back up stairs and I heard a child laughing. It scared the crap out of me and just as I turned to see if anyone was there a ball came flying through the air and hit me in the shoulder. I dang near fainted. There was no one else in the building. The building is not very large, it is an old community center. I ran up stairs, got my purse , went out and locked the door. As I was pulling out of the parking lot the down stairs light came on and the same ball that hit me bounced off the window. When I got to work the next morning I asked the director of the center if the down stairs light was on when she opened the next morning and she said no. I never told the others because they would not believe me as I had made fun of them for believing in ghost. They would have thought I was making it up. I wish I was.

yeah I believe in them. There was this one time when I was coming home at night and I was trying to find my keys, then I heard some footsteps inside and it sounded like they were coming to the door. Then I waited for a little while thinking it was one of my parents coming to unlock the door for me but then they stopped after they had gotten really close. Then I found my keys and unlocked the door, but no one was there and my mom's slippers were placed in a position that made them look like they were walking toward the door. Ever since then we have something messing with our shoes cause theyre always getting messed with without anyone having amything to do with them.

I just experienced a type of energy in my house for 3 days in a row. I accept that we are spiritual beings living a human experience , and not human beings living a spiritual experience. So being that said I know sometimes our worlds cross.....

I too believe... when you find loose change laying around or a coin of some sort, pick it up and say Thank You! These are spirits, telling you they are around you. Maybe your late husband, mother, grandfather, or just a spirit that likes you!

I have way too many encouters to tell! But the best ones are when the light bulbs are blown out... Just another sign they give us to say Hi!

Spirits, yes. I have lived with one for three years, prior to moving to where i live today. She was a small girl who liked to surprise me in gentle ways. She'd move neatly stacked books so that the edges jutted out like a tower of stars. She'd turn my bedside light off. She'd pat my cat. (that one freaked me out a little at first) I was in my room reading, when i observed my cat (nip's) behaving like he was receiving a good long rub from his head to his tail. He was purring and looking at something I could not see. I got up and walked over to him, and as I lent over to touch him, the heat was incredible. I left the room. This occured a number of times, always with the cat in the same spot in the room. That spot in the room was always warmer than the rest of the house.

So I am a believer, and i play the didgeridoo. My didge has dreamtime spirits painted in ochre on it. It was made by Djulu, guardian of the didge. With all respect I asked the spirit to show itself to me if it so desired, and declared that i was a friend.

Days later I dreamt that my room was litterally full of colorful helium filled balloons. So full it was hard to see anything but masses of color. As I laughed and played my way through this delightful surprise, in that spot where it was always warm, stood a little girl. She said hello and waved and disappeared. her presence was never felt again. I still get goose bumps when i think about her.

We live in my husband's great-grandparent's house. Both of them passed in our home. We also had a friend die in our home, due to a tragic accidental shooting. There has also been 2 people die on our property, but outside our home.
Many people that have visited my home, say they "feel something". Some have even seen things.
My husband's best friend says that { I } woke him up one night and motioned for him to follow me. He had to walk right past my husband and me sleeping in our room. Our door was open and he seen me sleeping there with my husband and when he looked again to see the "me" that he was following, { I } was gone.
On another occassion, my cousin was staying with us, sleeping in the same room as the previous friend, and he says he was woke up by my husband. He thought my husband was trying to scare him, so he reached over and flipped on the light. He said after he turned on the light "something" grabbed the window shadow and crushed it, like between 2 hands and laughed menacingly at him. He woke up the whole house as he ran/stumbled down the stairs. He refused to ever come visit us again.
There's been numerous things happen at our house. Things go missing, you can hear people talking, laughing, singing. Guests in our home claim to see people or say they feel like someone is watching them. Some of them say they feel threatened in some way.
We think it's kinda cool, but then again Halloween is our favorite holiday lol.

I definitely believe, though I have never had an experience. I have always wanted to experience a ghost sighting, though.

No. Draughts and pipes creaking as they contract or expand and birds and mice moving and light reflecting off leaves and clouds and twigs falling off branches and doors and windows clicking in the wind and lights dimming because the generator has a minor fault and people making noises and coughing and moving next door and fill in the rest yourself, please?
