I'm 19 and I just had my first 5 months ago. My mom was an RN in OB (registered nurse in obstetrics) for 20 yrs and walking is actually recommended. It really depends on your normal exercise routine as to what you should be doing. Your joints are loose and tender because of a hormone that is being dispersed through out your body because of the pregnancy, so its NOT a good idea to run or lift heavy weights you could lift light weights at most. Stretching is good as well. In the last three months its a good idea to take it easy slow it down a little. And carry a bottle of water with you, you don't want to dehydrate while exercising. Take a day off from every thing one in a while give your body some pampering it helps allot to just relax sometimes.

You will probably want to tone down your excersise routine, but it is safe, and healthy to continue excersising through pregnancy (and can even make your labor easier like kegels.) I found I especially enjoyed light stretching, simple yoga, walking, and swimming.

here are some pages with good excersises.

This depends on what your normal routine is. It is safe and also recommended that you have physical activity, like taking daily walks, throughout your pregnancy.
