mice are very small and it is instinct to bite first and ask quesations later...it helps them to survive. before you get rid of your little mousie...give her a second chance...and try these sites out. i sound like a very loving person, i know you will do the right thing.

I think Pet Stores will take an animal back.. My cousin had a rabbit that wouldnt let anyone hold it, it was mean, and the pet store took it back.
Good luck on getting rid of it, LOL, I have two cats and 2 miniature Horses I want to get rid of. Not that I dont love them, I just have too many pets!
Bye

the pet store might take it back, but i would try giving it a little more time if you can. I have 2 rats and they fight all the time figuring out who is more dominant but that is normal for both rats and mice. Just like cats and dogs fight.
how long have you had the mouse?? when I first got my second rat it would bite me when I tried to pick it up b/c it was scared, but after a while it got used to me. I fed them out of my hand for a little while and then started trying to pet them and once they got used to it they let me pick them up and ride on my shoulder.

I'm so sorry about your pet. Mice can get very wild occasionally, and it is sad to have to let them go. The pet shop where you purchased her would probably be able to take her back. If they refuse, try putting an ad in your local newspaper. Lots of pet owners like you and myself may check there often, sometimes searching for new little creatures to love. Try:
MOUSE FOR SALE: Lovable, cute mouse for sale!
__ year old, adorable little rodent. Good to go to a loving home!
Name, Phone #
God bless!

When I was little I had a hamster just like that. Her name was Dawn. She would beat the livin crap out of my male hamster, Sam. No matter what I did, she was always mean and hyper.
I was attached to her, so getting rid of her was out of the question. I bought a separate small cage for her. When she needed to exercise (Sam's cage was a hamster fun house), I would switch the hamsters so they wouldn't fight. Maybe you could try that if you are attached to your mouse.

The only way to find out is to call and ask.
If they don't take her back, put an ad in the paper. You could also contact local schools--teachers may want a mouse for their classroom. (Make sure they know that it is aggressive and shouldn't be handled).

You could try to take it back to the pet store...of course don't try to get your $ back...don't think they would go for that. You could see if an elementary class needs a class pet and give it away as well

If the store that you bought it from won't take it back check around at your school see if the science teacher or biology teacher is interested. If not your school check other high schools or public schools...............offer an incentive like a habitat and supply of food. Little kids love to have a class pet.

in case you cant come to an settlement jointly with your mothers and fathers, then you definately might desire to attempt to detect a sparkling abode for the rats. i would not positioned "unfastened rats" in the paper simply by fact regrettably maximum folk wont evaluate a rat for a puppy. If all people did take the rat they might possibly use it for food for a snake, which i'm specific you dont choose for. you may alswyas supply the rats to a look after and that they're going to guard them till somebody will come and undertake them. The puppy shop possibly wont take them back. The look after feels like the main suitable theory.

it really depends on the pet store, most pet stores would not, there is a site, www.craigslist.org, you can go list it on their locally and you can talk to the person you give it too before you do it to make sure it is going to a good home.
