OK so I think I would be a good actress, or model or something like that... I'm 14. My friend has this agent and everything and it got me thinking that I would like to give it a shot. So how do I get this done?I do a lot of acting and improv. and stuff at school, in German... I bet i could do it in english too. lol. but seriously... what do I have to do to achieve this?

Keep doing what you are doing, act and get involved whenever you can. If they have plays in your area at local theatres go and try out for parts that you have researched for, aske ahead of time and find out wha the part is. Go to acting or singing or dance classes, this builds confidence. Go to churches that have choral groups or plays also, many do these days and set all the experience you can. If your mom agrees to get an agent you will need a portfolio of pictures done by a professional photographer, they aren't cheap. That is how he gets you looked at. Also, if the local college has any kind of youth programs dealing with acting or plays or anything like that get involved. You can try out for local modeling for local stores, get mom to back you in this too many things can go wrong, if itls legitimate and for a smaller store they don't pay a whole lot bu tit gets you experience and exposure. If you want it badly you have to sacrafice and get your family to back you and foget a lot of the things your friends do, go for it. Good luck.

Get involved.... the more you do, the more experience you gain. If you just do high school plays and community theater or if you go one to be a big star... It all helps. Just a heads up though... It won't be easy. There is a lot of competition out there in the world of acting. You need to have the heart and the talent to do it. Everybody goes through different experiences... So if you are really serious then go for it. remember though... Nobody makes it to stardom on there first try. It may take several years.

If you want to do modeling, go to a local modeling agency. I have several friends who are local models and even one who is about to possibly become international. Go to an agency and talk with the people there.

As for acting, do all of the plays and such that you can. Stage experiance is GREAT. It really builds confidence and even helps you decide if it is really what you want to do with all of the crazy rehearsals and such. Trust me, it isn't an easy life.

i know i might repeat what many people here have said, but here it goes anyways. just keep on acting, dancing, singing, etc. build up your skills, maybe take theater class in school. but the thing is, you have to enjoy the experience, you have to feel like you're in it, and not performing it. that way you know you're on the right track. also, get involved in comunity theater, and audition for school plays and musicals, too! this way you'll get peoples attention. and yeah, getting a union card helps too! so, theres my advice

Go ahead and get a Union Card from your local Actors Guild. That makes it legal for you to have speaking roles in movies and TV. Then find an agency. Thanks!

AUDITON...AUDDITION...and AUDITION AGAIN!! That's my advice. Go to tons of auditions. If you have any talent, they will probably pick you. Do something out of the ordinary, but show yourself. GOOD LUCK :)
