Easy...Get a roomate preferably your best friend.
Split rent/electric/phone -- and buy another car.(look everywhere, you will find something with lower miles.) TRUST me it's worth it in the long run. Find some used car dealer(small place) and they should get you for payments(ya your gonna get ripped off but it's the only way(if you have no credit)

Think of it this way -- calculate the money you spend every month to fix the car then see how far that is from a monthly payment of say 200-400/month for a car that WON'T break down.

Roomate option is the best way.

Think of it this way...

You make $1200/month. That's $300/week.

If you spend $450/month in rent and let's say $100 in bills for the apartment (electricity, gas, heat, air conditioning, water, etc), then you are already down to $650. You'll be spending at the very least $50/week in groceries or food.

That leaves you with $450 to pay for your car, your insurance, and any other bills that you may have.

That's really not going to leave you with anything to save or to spend on stuff for yourself or to hang out with friends for the month.

Is it worth it? Maybe you should save a bit more and make a little bit more before thinking of moving or consider a roommate to help to ease the burdens of having an apartment.

you'll be needing at least another 1200/mo.
Ya got utilities to pay, and food/household items to buy...every month.
it would be very hard for one person making 1200/mo.
You'd end up spending more time at work than at the apartment.
If you're gonna work that hard to have your own place, you'd be much better off to buy than to rent.

Only if you are willing to give up something to make it work. You cannot do it alone unless you make more $.

You should get another job if you want it that bad.
