I have LG VX6000 cell phone. It's about a year and half old. All of a sudden out of no where, my phone keeps turning off by itself like someone just took the battery out. I can't turn it on by pressing the on button but if I press the phone diferent places with my hands or plyers, the phone turns on by itself. It keeps doing that everyday. Most of the time it doesn't even turn on. I have to press on different part of the phone for about 10 minutes for it to come on. Is it a battery problem or something mechanical? Battery's are always fully charged and that still happens. Don't know what's wrong with the phone.

Even though the battery is fully charged, it could be coming loose. That happened to one of my phones. It would shut off because the battery would loosen up. Once I got a new battery, it was fine. Try that first, if it doesn't work, then I have no idea! I get a new phone every 2 yrs anyways, they aren't made to last a lifetime ;)

you have 3 strategies, guarantee, insurance, or improve. If there is not any damange to the telephone (actual or liquid) and it fairly is under guarantee (new telephone 12, months, refurbished 3 months), call customer care to work out if guarantee will approve it. If no longer under guarantee, examine to work out in case you have insurance. $50 deductible. in case you will get an improve, this is an determination too. in the journey that your on prepaid, the LG Neon's $ninety 9. i comprehend it fairly is not a similar, despite the fact that it fairly is an option. whilst you're no longer eligible for an improve, you nevertheless might evaluate taking your sim and putting it in anouther telephone, like a prepaid lg neon.

Did you ever drop your phone? I went by my carrier's store the other day to check on my battery and he told me a lot of dropping or physical damage can affect the battery. He told me it casues the phone to shut off on its on or move at a slower place.

But then again it could be something more complex, I'd go down to the carrier store and have them check it out. They usually do it for free. good luck. i know its frustrating.
