I just got on these new pill last mth and im supposed to start my period but im only spotting. I thought i was pregnant so I took a test and it was - but my friend messed with it before it was finished reading but it still said negitive could I be pregnant?

normally anytime you start a new bc pill you usually follow up with your doctor so that they can monitor any reactions to the bc pill, if you are late starting and are spotting you need to let your doctor know this as it could be a problem with the new pill. as for your being pregnant, it is always better to be safe than sorry so discuss this with your doctor and they might decide to do a pregnancy test. good luck.

New pill, new ingredients. Your body could take up to 3 months to get regulated again. Give it a couple of cycles and see from there. And just for extra info, I'd wear a condom for a couple of months if you didn't want to catch a gap in the switch in prescriptions and end up pregnant. Good luck.

If you're having sex, there's ALWAYS a change of being pregnant, no matter what the circumstances!
