I was just watching American Idol and one of the contestants responded to Simons put down. He said that the time of music is popular and at least he isnt singing Telletubbies. What was he reffering to?

In other words what does Simon have to do with The Teletubbies? SImon was very embarressed.

Simon was responsible for the release of the hit album "A Teletubbies Christmas". Chris was calling him out for that and Simon wasn't happy about it.

Teletubbies are characters from a UK kids program. They basically speak in their own language which is very similar to baby talk. They also had a hit with some nonsence, their theme tune I believe. I think their names are Lala Po Ditsey and Tink....or something equally mind numbing....
