Hi, I bought 6 Neon Tetras. When I got home with them I saw there were 7 fish in the bag and the 7th fish was a lot different than the Neon's I bought. I think it's some kind of Tetra, but I don't know what kind. It might be in the high-fin family. Do you know? Click on this to see pic I took. And yes, it is orange in color but my camera kinda changed it a little.

It is yellowish/orange in color. It is taller than the neon's but just as long. Yes u can see it's guts inside it's body. I have looked at several pictures since I asked this and I think it might be a lemon tetra. Cause it's kinda reddish near it's eye's. Like rouge on the checks and around the eye's. but it can't be a lemon cause u can't see a lemon's guts. Now I found a picture that very closely resembles it. A Ulrey's Tetra. It has a little red around the eye's I don't know... I just wish I could get a better pic of it to show u all.

I believe it is a white skirt tetra (sometimes called a glass tetra). Most of the time you see them colored or injected with flourescent dye that eventually kills them. They are not agressive and should be OK with your neons.
BTW, neons are touchy fish and if your tank has not been cycled properly they will slowly die off due to the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate spikes. Even in a completely cycled tank, neons need pristine water quality and a low pH (6.5 to 6-8 to prosper). Temps in the area of 78-82 degrees are best for them.

The color of the photo is not proper, though by the body shape it can be guessed that it is a gold neon tetra. I think the coloration of the fish is slightly gold and it has a pink(or red) linear coloration from the tummy - tail. If the red coloration is not very prominent & thick, then it can also be a glowlight tetra.
Dont bother, its just another characin(tetra) it'll eat the same as the neons & even school around with them.

Can you "see through" it a bit?
If so it could be one of the "X-ray tetras"
Looking in my freshwater fish book and it looks like it could be an Albino X-ray Tetra (Pristella riddlei Albino).
I don't think it is a Sawbwa Tetra (Sawbwa respledens) as the colour (according to your description) doesn't look right. The Sawbwa is actually a rasbora, which was orginally grouped with the tetras but with further investigation was found to be a rasbora. The tetra tag stuck though.
You know, it could be a cherry barb. In particular an albino cherry barb, they usually look longer than your picture, but your fish is sort of on an angle so I'm not sure).
My first thought was a glowlight tetra though. They are not orange though. They are sort of clear with a bright orange line running down the length of the fish.
NEED A BETTER PICTURE! :P

It looks like it could be one of several things. Without a clear pic it is hard to tell. I think it may be a Glolight Tetra or Silvertip Tetra.

My guess would be a glass fish (tetra) or possibly a diamond tetra.

Go to petsolutions.com and go to live deliveries. Then select tatras. Maybe you'll find it there.
