Muhammad Ali refusing to join the army seems important. Showed that black man can resist and stand up to something he does not agree with He was not the first, just most respected by a majority. That a person's religion is more powerful than any country or government. You don't have to assimilate if you do not agree. It was one of the catalysts that brought the anti-war movement to America as whole.

paul rubens supposedly doing something at a movie theater that event had to be important because they had to be feeling intencely about it because they were exercising there freedom of expression and its important cause we still like em anyways and it dont matter to us and i still like seeing them in entertainment ok i was wrong it was the 19th but does it really matter
