im a teen, healthy, and have a pretty balanced diet, and im a vegetarian.

It is healthy for a body to expel waste at least once per day, but poor diets, medication, inactivity, and a host of other factors all contribute to sluggish bowels. Ideally, a healthy person should experience one to two bowel movements per day, or five to seven bowel movements per week. As waste is separated from material that can be used as fuel for the body, it is moved through the large intestine. Within the large intestine, the waste absorbs available water to make a bulkier stool. When waste is not moving properly through the bowels, it can accumulate and become impacted in the colon, creating discomfort. One of the more common symptoms is bloating.

If you get bloated then something you are eating is causing you to have gas. Drink a warm glass of tea after your meal(s) and if you burp then you had gas. Vegetables are naturally gaseous foods. Iim a vegetarian and over the years I've learned to control the gas by limited certain types of vegetables. Plus I drink a cup a tea every morning.

your not getting enough fiber. exspecially since you are a vegetarian. a lot of vegitables cause gas and bloating. try a fiber that you add to food or water and is taste less. I have had a lot of luck with it.
