That is a very open ended question... you need to answer some basic info... what do you plan to use it for... you can have access to millions of resouces a glance... you can order pizza... you can communicate with friends and family... do you like music... burning ripping creating your own music cds... do you like movies... downloading burning processing and play back... have memories on film digitize them so they last forever and send them to whoever where ever when ever... then comes with job you hold... my fingers hurt but there are so many things to say with not knowing you... good luck..

The world is getting more and more computerized, and if you dont have a computer, then your going to be left behind.
You can do next to almost anything with a computer nowadays.
Be it for the internet, word processing, games, movies, music, etc; just about anyone could find a use for a computer.

You can use the internet and no longer be isolated.
I would have a dozen file cabinets overflowing with paper if I couldn't save information in my computer.
I use it to do correspondence, and everything pertaining to my business, that used to be done on paper.
I can make presentations to civic groups much quicker than standing at a photocopier with a book of clip art.
