I swear, I used to fear elevators that had 4 doors on their opening.
I don't know why either.

I was. It's claustrophobia. When I was 15 I got in an elevator with my friends. Peer pressure kept me from freaking out. I didn't want anyone to know I felt afraid. After that, I never had another problem with elevators.

when i was a child i used to looooooooooove riding in elevators WITH A GROWNUP... otherwise i would just absolutely run in and out b4 the doors closed with me bcuz i was not sure if it would fall through the floor with me or shut up and never open again.
I used to really enjoy the sinking feeling of it beginning to move or coming to a stop. To this day i can hardly contain myself bc it is almost akin to rollercoaster rides---which i happen to just loooooooooooove.

Elevators still make me nervous. I use not to be able to ride in them at all, and would walk the stairs no matter what height. Now, I will go in them if it is with other people, and I have started to try to get comfortable with the idea of riding it alone.

I used to love them. We would always do this thing with my mom. As soon as the doors closed, all of us kids would start running around and singing and acting totally crazy, until it stopped and the doors opened. Then we would immediately stop and try to keep a straight face to the people who were entering it. It was fun, and I have to admit that I do it with my own kids now and then, too, and now they love elavator rides.

I was, I didn't know when I went in if/when I would come out and what would happen to me while I was in there. Now I am just claustrophobic and hate being in them if there are lots of people in them.
