museums are great way to know somebody better...Think about it how they respond to art and/or the exhibits will let you know off the bat if this should continue.
A play is also good. Or a sporting event or a concert.
Just having coffee at Starbucks should suffice as a date. The date doesn't have to be 3 hours long.

go to a movies than out to eat if he is a nice guy then maybe the bedroom if he is in the mood if not next time

HU id say take a romantic walk on the beach ore fancy resterant and wear a cute dress!

i would recommend dinner because that's a good time to talk to people and get to know them.
