am i supposed to install windows on an external drive?

after installing an external drive do i install windows on that too?...never used an external drive so i really don't know the first thing about it.

no. it should already be formated to be run on windows. it's just like connecting peripherals to your computer, like an mp3 player or a printer. you just need to install the software it comes with, and that's it!

no you dont put windows on an external drive, you use it to put your files like pictures or music etc, wotever you want but not windows
