Recently, someone keyed my old '95 Ford Ranger from the left tail light to about 4 feet over to the right of the tail gate. Is there anything I can buy to fill in this huge key mark? Like touch-up paint perhaps?

You can touch it up but it's still going to show. If the key marks are not too deep and you have a clear coating on the paint, you get remove the scratches with GS27 available at Walmart and many parts stores. I've used it many times to remove small scratches.

When it happened to me, I was told "no." The touch up color will not match the color of your car. The entire vehicle will have to be painted over for a uniform look.

I guess it also depends on how deep the scratch is. You may be able to buff it out.

a good auto parts store should stock the appropriate spay paint , depending on how deep the mark is you may need to get some fine wet & dry paper to 'feather ' it back & maybe some body filler . you may need to do paint all of that panel to get it to match depending on sun fade ( a big factor with red paint ) etc:

they sell touch up paint but due to weathering it probable won't match. can you afford to just have the rear painted professionally and have them blend it? I know not a great answer but not aware of any other permanent way. The only other thing which sometimes works is colored wax will kinda of blend in...........not perfect but might hold you over.
