works and the library is running Microsoft Word. Can I transfer this to print it out? If so how...Please help they are closing soon. THANKS..I brought it here to print since I don't have a printer...

Ok my file is on my CD it's not saved on this library computer

It could be that the library's word program isnt configured to work with your saved resume.
Try right clicking your document thats on the cd and either click the 'open with' link, or if it has a submenu pop-out then choose any item from the pop-out list.

There are file converters that can be downloaded and installed on the library computer but I am fairly certain that you do not have the admin authorization to do that.

The converters may be installed try this... Go to file>open and at the bottom of the file window check the file type and see if works 6.0 or 7.0 is an option and try that.

Microsoft Works should include Word as its word processor. You shouldn't have any trouble opening it. Double-click your file, and it should automatically open in Word. If it doesn't, try opening Word, and then selecting File > Open. In the File Types field, select All Files. Browse to where your file is and select and open it.

Does a simple copy->paste and modify cant work?
